Still haven't got your CNY goodies? Last three days to grab yours through walk ins to Joyus Pastries outlets. Long queue every CNY cannot go wrong. 

Bought a few pineapple tubs for my colleagues and everyone came back with awesome feedback. The tarts are crispy and well coated with its buttery fragrance. The oversized sweet pineapple fillings with chewable strands are just worth your calories. I had 2 tubs of them and now left with only 30% 😋😬😅 (haven't CNY gonna finish liao). Protip: Planning for 2022 CNY, buy them before a certain date for bigger discounts. 🥰

Since we cannot shout Huat ah, just have to buy a few tubs of Pineapple tarts and roll them at home. Hope the God of Fortune (财神爷) can come and overcome them. 🤑🤑🤑

Blanco Court Prawn Mee

Blanco Court Prawn Noodles @ 243 Beach Road

Recommends: Jumbo 🦐Prawn Noodles, 🐖Pork Ribs and Pork Tail Noodles.

Your local prawn noodles staple that packs a punch every single time. Their dry version comes with their unique chilli sauce that is slightly sweet🍬, lil spicy🌶 and combined with a tinge of prawn broth umami. Prawn size depends on your wallet size from $6 (latest price list) - $12 (Jumbo ones) with a variety of combination of pork ribs or prawns. I love the pork tail prawns combo.

Their gao gao prawn broth is refillable so make sure you get enough of it before your butt leaves the place. When the queue 👯‍♂️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️ gets long during the peak hours, do get your dose of fried fritters (五香虾饼) while waiting. 

The fried fritters just completes the ala carte prawn noodles set menu. With fresh and wide variety of prawn crackers, tofu skin, ngoh hiang, hey zhou, fish ball, cuttlefish balls, pi da (century eggs), dou gan (beancurd) and many more. Sure to leave your belly calling for more! Every order comes with the pinkish sweet and mahogany spicy sauce, fantastic way to start your week!

Not recommended for first date💞, but second dates can proof worthy of how your date can withstand a coffee shop style dining without the aircon. 

They have a few brother-owned shops of prawn noodles. I also like their East Coast Beach Road Prawn Noodles. Note this place closes on Tuesday.

Your Saturday night fever with Yakitori (more than just grilled chicken skewers) and Happy Hour!🍻 Typical japanese theme izakaya wannabe with colourful paintings on walls and (koi fish) ceilings to set the ambience.

We came for the 50% off grilled skewers and beer happy hour. Perrrrrfect combo! 🙌

Deep fried tempura and grilled skewers 🍡 were crispy and tasty although some skewers were plated lukewarm. Feedback was provided and service recovery was prompt and well done. Recommending their chicken skin, tebasaki, salmon belly and beef skewers. The chicken skin was shhhhhoooo goood! Recommend double ✌✌order at least!!! We also included some 🍄 to act healthy.

No combining of either Entertainer or Burrple Beyond with the Happy Hour 🎊 promotion. Well, you cant have the best of both worlds right?🧐 Saw some tables having the Donburis but we ran out of belly storage. Gotta return for another round of Donburis and catch up with friends. 

Guys, if you need a place to impress ur date and yet compress your spending, this might be the place. Plus, free iced water served 😉. Prolly better to show off how much alcohol you can Hoot without getting wasted, not for the underaged...

What is the power of three ideology (#三点金)?

"#Trinity" in short - Everything and anything that appears in three or multiples of three.

You may have already know "For The Win" lingo, but do you know it also stands for Food, Travel and Wine? It only gets better from here. Imagine if you read it in reverse, WTF. Wuuuuhooooooo 😗 it can go many places from there and I will share my 2 faves, What The Fuck and Where The Food? You will get the drift...

My three point gold Ideology (三点金) theme for my stories will revolve around FTW with a twist. 1) Food is obvious with a simple 3 point rating. 2) Travel is limited right now because of one freaking weirdo who ate some tonic bat soup 🥘 and inflicted the planet Earth with the infamous COVID virus. If you know him or her personally, please send my best regards to that person. I really want to know how the soup taste like so I can rate it. 

The last one is 3) Whine 🤭 instead of Wine 🍷. What is Whine? Everything about your life that is not going the way you wanted. I always believe Feng Shui (风水) Geomancy is only needed in times of bad luck, when you are riding on Cloud 9, who needs to care about pointed arrows and 小人?

Today marks the new beginning 📍 for my Three Point Gold LifeStory, 三点金💰💰💰的故事 (wah lao eh, why not 四点金吗?).

This will be a life changing moment for me and you, as serendipity readers and supporters of my blog. My #lifestory will never be complete with you and our experiences.

Wait No Further (except for my posts 😄) to get a taste of what future beholds, I will be sharing the real deal of adulting without all the bells and whistles (but with all the shits).

How about handling the cold hard truths that you always try to avoid and the no risks rewards that never exists (CPF maybe)? I am just trying to be like Jack (I feel sorry for you if you feel hurt), master of none.
